DEVOTION Tremella is a genus of fungi in the family Tremellaceae. All Tremella species are parasites of other fungi and most produce anamorphic yeast states. Basidiocarps (fruit bodies), when produced, are gelatinous and are colloquially classed among the "jelly fungi". Over 100 species of Tremella are currently recognized worldwide. Two species, Tremella fuciformis and Tremella aurantialba, are commercially cultivated for food.  

Function:
Tremella Mushroom is rich in dietary fiber. Water insoluble fiber helps promote soft, bulky stools. Water soluble fiber forms a gel-like material which coats the gastric tract, delays glucose absorption and lowers cholesterol.
Polysaccharides contained in Tremella Mushroom has an excellent water holding capacity. It can hold water equivalent to nearly 500 times its weight, which is greater than hyaluronic acid.
When the polysaccharide from Tremella Mushroom was applied to skin topically for 4 weeks, the water holding capacity of the skin and horny layer was greatly improved.

Storage: 
Tightly sealed in a clean, cool, dry area, keep away from strong, and direct light.

2 years when properly stored.
